Born as a California kid, and raised in the Bay Area, I later moved on to school in LA to become an elementary school teacher. But fate and bad habits brought me to the rave world and I feel in love. Festivals rule, God is a DJ. Electronic music truly is a Universal Religion, as Armin would say, and I could not agree more. My musical tastes come from the thrill of the dance, the excitement of the mash, and the rush of the beats. My production work has begun and a first album will be unveiled in a mix in the near future ;) But till then, one original track of mine can be found in all new mixes following Enter the Bedroom. I produce my tracks in Logic and record lots of original beats/loops on the monome. My first original track titled 'GypsyMau5' can be found beginning the Modern Day Gypsy mix or on my facebook page linked here: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=55202253. Many more original tracks and beats on the way and can also be found as facebook postings. Grasping all the infinite information in the software world has been a blast and I am lucky to all my friends who pointed me in the right direction, if you are into software and have questions, I'd be happy to answer or help you through it too. I am currently enjoying spinning with an M-Audio powered Xponent as my main tool. My favorite machine thou still is the monome, it has such potential in the house world, it throws down beats like magic. My personal favorite artists (and main influences) are Swedish House Mafia (production), Manufactured Superstars (mixing ability), Bart B. More (house-techno style), and Deadmau5 (digital age).
